GIVE BACK: Hamilton Out Of The Cold

Hamilton Out of the Cold is a non-for-profit program that provides meals for those in need in the Hamilton community from November-March. Their mission is to serve hot, nutritious meals to the people of our community who are struggling with hardship.

They will be serving dinner 4 days a week from 8 different locations across the city. Guests are greeted with a smile for a hot meal prepared by talented volunteer cooks.

Last year Hamilton Out of the Cold was able to serve 22,678 meals to those in need.

We are strong believers in giving back to the community that we live in and have partnered with this amazing non-for-profit organization to collect socks, mittens and gloves that will be handed out to those in need while guests arrive to pick up their warm meals. In addition, cash donations are always welcome and will be put towards purchasing food and packaging so that Hamilton Out of the Cold can continue to serve their guests healthy meals in the cold.

WHAT ARE WE COLLECTING?

  • SOCKS(NEW)
  • MITTENS(NEW/LIGHTLY USED)
  • GLOVES(NEW/LIGHTLY USED)
  • MONETARY DONATIONS

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

There will be a donation box at our office located at 1-3185 Harvester Road in Burlington where you can drop off socks, mittens & gloves. We will also be doing 2 days of pick-ups where we will drive around and collect donations for those unable to drop them off. If you wish to make a monetary donation you may do so at the link below.
